If you know Matt, you know he’s one of the good ones, the kind of person who shows up for others, who’s a great friend, and who brings dependability and kindness to the people around him. And if you know his family, you know what kind of people they are - heart, loyalty, and love.
Matt is a father, son, brother, uncle, and friend.
Matt is currently on dialysis three times a week and is facing kidney failure due to a congenital kidney disease. He began dialysis in March 2024, and while he continues to push forward with strength and determination, a kidney transplant is the best path toward a healthier future.
We are asking for help finding a living kidney donor for Matt. Even if you can’t donate, please share — one share could connect us to the right person.
This page was created to share Matt’s story, raise awareness, and make it easy for people to learn about living kidney donation. We know this is a deeply personal and serious topic, so we’re committed to sharing information in a respectful, responsible way.
Living donation begins with a confidential screening through the transplant center’s living donor program. The donor team will guide interested donors through the process, answer questions, and determine eligibility and compatibility.
If someone is not a direct match for Matt, they may still be able to help through a paired exchange program (depending on the transplant center), where a donor helps Matt receive a compatible kidney from another donor.
To protect everyone involved:
Please do not submit private medical information through this website or to friends/family.
Donor screening and medical evaluation are handled only by the transplant center.
Donation is always voluntary, and a potential donor can stop the process at any time.
